Aqua-park - Wroclaw

If you come from a country which is not surrounded by sea like Malta then probably this is something very common. For me, this was something new. We decided to go check it out as from what we have seen online it looked quite cool ...... and indeed it was! There were so many different things to do! But lets start step by step.

Inside the Aqua Park

Location: Borowska 99, 50-558 Wrocław, Poland

Prices:

-> 2hrs ~ 22zl (€ 5.10)

-> 3hrs ~ 25zl (€5.79)

-> Day ~ 28zl (€6.49)

Opening hours: Everyday from 5.40am - 11pm

Here one can find various pools with different temperatures. For example: the wave pool was 30 °c, while the outdoor recreational pool was 32°c. The outdoor recreational pool consists of 2 sections, 1 covers 4 swimming lanes and the other holds a relaxation zone with geysers and showers. In addition, there is also a particular pool for kids.

Apart from pools one can also find a lot of different kind of slides. Our absolute favorite was the Multimedia Slide having: light, sound, water curtains and transparent elements. Landing in a "strawberry-shaped" area continuing to the lazy river swimming pool.

Zoo Wroclaw

If you plan to visit the zoo, make sure you dedicate a day to this amazing huge place. It was

Afrykarium Building

filled with different type of animals; bears, foxes, reptiles, birds, sea creatures. While going around one would surely need a break to nibble on something, the zoo is even catered with food stalls and snack trucks. One is also able to buy a souvenir.

Unfortunately we did not manage to go in the Afrykarium, as we were extremely tired so cannot give our opinion, but we are sure that it is a one of a life time experience.

Location: Wróblewskiego 1-5, 51-618 Wrocław, Poland

Price: 46zlt (€10.66)

Opening hours:

Mathematical Tower

Do not let the name of this place deceive you. Yes, there is a lot of mathematical equations but that is not all this tower has to offer.

The view from the Mathematical Tower

In order to have such a panoramic view, one has to go up a whole lot of stairs BUT believe us, it's worth it :3

At the top on the inside written on the walls one finds names of great mathematicians, their achievements and tools for calculation and tracking starts.

Tumski Bridge & Market Hall

These two places are very close to each other, thus we decided to discuss them together. As for the Market hall we cannot really say a lot about it as we did not manage to fit it in our program, but if anyone would like to visit this is the location (we still went to see the building from the outside) : Piaskowa 17, 50-359 Wrocław, Poland

The Tumski Bridge has a lot of locks on its steel with peoples initials. We visited in the evening and there was still a beautiful view of the Oder River and the cruise ships.

Location: Świętej Jadwigi 1, 50-266 Wrocław, Poland

Note: If you like shopping Magnolia Park is the right shopping mall for you! ;)

Location: Legnicka 58, 54-204 Wrocław, Poland
