Birthday trip to Poland ~ 11th - 15th July 2018
Airline - Accommodation - Transport - Money Exchange

This was our first get away together as a couple. We grasped the opportunity and decided to go to a random country in Europe which happened to be Poland. It was the best decision as it has been one of the most memorable holidays.
“It was simply an amazing romantic get away!”
Apart from celebrating my birthday this has been simply an amazing romantic get away, where we could finally spend some quality time together as a couple since we are always very busy with work.
Airline
As an airline we decided to take the cheapest one for that moment and just go with the flow. In this case our pick was Ryan-air (which honestly we actually travel a lot with). In total for both of us back and forth we paid about € 100 (just with a small bag), which is one hell of a great bargain.
Accommodation

As mentioned previously, this was our first time so we did not really know how to go about it so we used our logic and started surfing the internet and visited mainly booking.com, as we have seen that it is a reliable website. We decided to go on one of those budget trips so we opted to stay at a cheap yet a nice place (which is not hard to find especially in Poland).
Obviously we excluded hotels and eventually we found a flat - Wood Creek apartments (535zl equivalent to €127). Basically this was someday a house and was converted into studio flats. Must say,we very happy, it was very clean and the hosts were very polite. Would highly recommend this place as it is also a few minutes walk away from the bus stop, pizzeria and a grocery store.
Location: Mikołowska 103A, 51-515 Wrocław, Poland
Transport
Transport was absolutely no problem! We chose to go around with public transport, so we downloaded an app called Jakdojade: public transport which was of a lot of help. You just put your location (in the city one can also find free wifi) and your destination and you arrive

exactly at the destinations doorstep. In addition, they were very frequent - meaning the only time we waited for a "long" time was late at night where we had to wait 30minutes.
Fare: One can find 3 types of tickets:
-> 90mins ~ 6zl (€1.41)
-> 24hr ~ 11zl (€2.59)
-> 72hr ~ 26zl (€6.13)
Note: Valid for both buses and trams.
Where to Purchase them: Ticket machines or news paper stands
Money Exchange
We did our research where is it best to exchange our money and Cent Kantor Exchange was the most suggested and indeed it had the best rates. Plus its location was in the City Center.
Location: Świdnicka 3, 50-064 Wrocław, Poland
All in all to conclude this section, this was an amazing experience plus people in general were very friendly and mostly spoke English so communication was absolutely not a problem! :)
