Colosseum and Palatine Hill We visited these two places as soon as we arrived in Rome as our room was not ready yet at the Hotel. In all honesty we did not go in for 2 reasons 1. Very expensive 2. Too many people So we decided to have a stroll around the Colosseum and go up the Palatine Hill

• Piazza Navona This is. Pretty little square where one can find some interesting souvenir shops and 2
fountains.
• Pantheon Out of most of the monumental buildings visited, this one had the shortest queue. We still only chose to admire it from the outside as we had a busy day planed ahead. Those huge pillars are a stunning sight but as the rest of these places it is completely over run by people.

• Fontana di Trevi
In all honesty, you are better off seeing this on photos rather than visiting it. There was a huge amount of people thus, we were not able to enjoy it properly. One must note that it is surveilled by police and the army. Although there are no signs anywhere you cannot sit on the edge of the fountain.

• Tiber Island As an island it is quite small and only a few places are accessible, but we had quite positive experience. While we were roaming around to see where we can have our Brunch, we came across this guy who could play the piano, trumpet and can also sing. He was simply amazing, if you would like to follow him this is his instagram page: ( https://www.instagram.com/sysfiction/ ). We sat next to the river and had our brunch while feeding the seagulls.

• Forum Romana
This is a huge place covered in different ruins. It is simply stunning but we also admired it from the outside. It is not something one should miss.

At one point we got lost and came across a cello and a guitar player accompanied by a very cute dog howling along with the music!
Other Places to visit are:
Piazza Di Spagnia, The Vatican (even just going around it... as the queue to go i is endless!), Castello Sant Angelo, Piazza del Popolo and the Supreme Court :)
