It has been almost 3 months since I discussed our traveling situation, so here is a quick update.

First of all, regarding our trip to Riga in April, we did receive an email offering a refund for our cancelled flights, we obviously applied for it and yet till today we still did not get our money back. After a while we were also offered vouchers, which one can use within a years time. We still asked for a full refund, but the good thing is that if we want we are still eligible to use the voucher.
This brings me to the next thing which I want to share with you. My family, my husband and I planned a 2 week trip to Poland and Hungary this year for August. To spend some quality time together and also for my family to meet my husband's family after a year and a half :) We have booked the following:
Flight : Malta -> Poland €65.99 Poland -> Hungary PLN 116 Hungary -> Malta Huf 21,700
We also booked our Poland stay in Poznan at Alexandra's place (6th floor). We must say she was one hell of a helpful host and was ready to answer all our queries in no time.
For 4 night and 5 people we were charged €378, which is a very good price. There was also the option to pay a small amount of money, then pay the rest in July, and that is exactly what we did.

Address:Gąsiorowskich 4 108, Poznań, wielkopolskie 60-702, Poland But again, Covid-19 disrupted our plans.... On May 6th, we received an email stating that our accommodation at Poznan was cancelled. On a positive note, we got a full refund and min you it only took around 2 days to be back in our bank accounts. In our opinion this was an early call as in 3 months a lot can happen. But, we said that this should not be a problem as we would definitely find another place where to stay. Almost a month later (5th June) we received an email from Ryanair that our flight to Poland and to Hungary are cancelled (but not from Hungary to Malta). In our opinion this was an early call, as airports are now opening slowly.
Our solution? Well, not much to do. Now we are waiting to see how the situation is going to turn out. If all would still be ok and no quarantine is needed, we use a voucher to have another ticket and spend 2 weeks just in Hungary rather than in 2 countries. As for the rest of the vouchers, we just wait and hope that we will someday get our refund.
